Thanks. They do show up in the About screen, and as I stated in the previous post, they only work if I disable Smartphone Link
Tried to load unlocked version on DriveSmart 61 with firmware version 6.00, Cyclop is not getting recognized in Device About menu. Files were copied to POI folder. Also tried to patch firmware with FirmwarePatcher to remove MSV, GVS and GCD signature but issue remains on device DriveSmart 61 with firmware 6.00. Previous firmware had no issues with patching or loading Cyclop.

Please help!
I have DriveSmart 61 with fw ver. 6.00. Device was unlocked (patched), all unlocked maps displayed and functioning normally.
I tried to use unlocked (and locked too) Garmin Cyclops files - without result - NO any information about Cyclops in Device About menu.
I put files in POI folder. At the same time, USCanadaCyclopsSample.gpi preinstalled in the device in the same folder works fine and is recognized in About window.
What could be the problem?

I have a DriveSmart 61 with fw ver. 6.00 too.I have 2 or 3 Cyclops update in a week.Use GarminExpress for update,not wifi update.Look for a Gas station,Hotel,if your find it Cyclops mas work.
You need the "unlocked" (decrypted) files but may also need to load patched firmware to DL50 as it has advanced protection in official fw.

Hello,
I have noticed in my GarminDevice.xml file that I have multiple entries for Cyclops cams:
So far I have at least 7 entries:Quote:
<UpdateFile>
<PartNumber>006-D2072-00</PartNumber>
<Version>
<Major>0</Major>
<Minor>0</Minor>
</Version>
<Path>Garmin/POI</Path>
<FileName>Eastern Europe_2019-06-22.gpi</FileName>
</UpdateFile>
As you can see from the names, I was loading them as they were released here (thank you very much for these files once again!).Quote:
<FileName>Eastern Europe_2019-06-22.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Cyclops.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Cyclops 2019-04-23.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Eastern Europe_2019-05-14.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Eastern Europe_2019-06-11.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Eastern Europe_2019-07-01.gpi</FileName>
<FileName>Eastern Europe.gpi</FileName>
I believe having multiple files is causing my device to crash and reboot unexpectedly when approaching speed-trap locations - not every time, but usually once per trip.
I've tried to delete these files via an option "Delete custom POI", but this give me no results - it only deletes SCDB files (or any other POI I had loaded).
As my unit is in-dash Kenwood car unit - I have no direct access to the internal memory of my device to connect via PC and delete any extra files.
Is there any option to delete those files, or factory reset of a device is my only option at this point?
What is the device you're using? You tried to delete the .gpi files directly? After deleting the file, check to see if proggy still uses it.
