I'm trying to update the latest Cyclops unlocked gpi file to my dnx521dab but it is giving an error
It recognises theres garmin\poi\poi.gpi and asks to update "New custom POIs detected...." on the nav screen, when I press Yes it says: "Cannot copy the custom POIs"
I've tried to delete the custom POIS in Tools not sure if it successfully does it any way of knowing? or any help to fix this please.

at David,
your unit's memory is either full or corrupted, that's why you have a write error!
thanks both Im sure I used this a year or 2 back on an older POI file and was fine. I've noticed today when I've gone for a drive even though I tried to delete custom POI, to attempt to upload the new one, it still alerts me of the old cameras so it didn't actually remove anything, hence why it was probably failed, but another point you made it might be that my dnx521dab doesn't accept cyclops. Do you know of a way to update my speed camera alerts? I did use unlocked poi.gpi file at one point but can't remember if it was cyclops or not (I thought it was).
thank you
Post your original POI (the one with the "old cameras") to zippyshare.com

haven't got the file anymore, if there's a way you know how to export it from the stereo it self, I can export it and upload it?
Are you talking about transferring what you're currently using? Just copy the .gpi over. What alerts are you currently using now?
If you're talking about "exporting" Cyclops alert, it won't be "exact" because the format is different. I did conversions to Garmin alert for Street Pilot a while back so it can be used on devices not able to handle Cyclop's format, you can check the threads for those at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Note that Cyclops alerts are NOT the same as Garmin alerts. You can create Garmin alerts from .csv file via PoiLoader. Cyclops alerts are
1. Encrypted
2. Encoded differently

I apologise I hadn't noticed this was still existing until someone linked it to my new 2022 post.
This problem is still an issue and now it has accepted the 2022 GPI, though the 2018 is still on the system which I would like to delete, is there a guide on overwriting the existing file for the DNX521DAB system?
