Thread: Routing Software for Windows PC

Hi Guys,

I have an idea but I don't know if it works.

I would like to use my 17" Windows Laptop (only in emergencies) as a GPS to guide me.

I know I can buy a GPS USB receiver easily, but I can't find the software that allows this, I heard something about AutoRoute but that has been discontinued.

Do you guys have any recommendations ?

Apparently it uses the OpenstreetMaps

Anyone tried it ?

Also, there is a PC version of iGo8 around as well... May want to check into it.

Here is working version of iGo8 for PC. Resolution 1600x900. It fits for 17" display. Pure software.
Add maps, global_cgf, language and voice files as you wish (download from forum):
