**The service is currently available in more than 55 European metropolitan areas. Urban Guidance is a Live service and therefore requires a data connection.

Note:
- Positioning your smartphone correctly in the vehicle is very important to ensure optimal GPS reception and for your own safety! Ensure that this is always positioned outside of the range of the airbags!
- NAVIGON is an on-board solution. This means that all map material, voice announcements and system files are saved on the telephone. Therefore no charges or waiting time for data transfer are incurred.
- The Europe version requires approx. 2GB of free memory. Please ensure you have sufficient available mass-storage space (SD card). The map material must be downloaded after installing the app via wireless Internet on the smartphone. Please ensure a reliable and safe connection is available.

this is a patched com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu46 and NOT a patched com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu40 (original), thus it installs data into

Android/data/com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu46

AND uses a different db path for favorites and saved routes. So you need a rooted android to transfer them to

/data/data/com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu46/databases/navigon.db
or
Android/data/com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu46/databases/navigon.db

EDIT: according to the content of version.xml in /Android/data/com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu46/files/Navigon, this looks like a patched SELECT version (with fake imei):

So no in-app purchases. I see from the official site that select version needs new purchases for premium features.

AFAIK, none of the recent cracked versions allows in-app purchases anymore, which unfortunately also applies to this one (I checked). Still nice that it simply installs and runs even after phone reboot.

Also the navigon.db from com.navigon.navigator_checkout_eu40 works, and so do the latest Q2-2017 maps.

Let's test this version and report back. I plan to test it on Wednesday and should be back after a few days.

Wrong info, m8. Last fully patched version of NAVIGON was 5.5.0, which had in-apps working as well. But the cracker does not want publicity. So no new "releases" from him since then.

if the error was IMEI related it would state that from what I remember when trying to get the select edition running on a dual SIM phone a while ago. But this cracked version should not be looking for the IMEI because it does not have Traffic Life and in-app purchases anyway. So your prob seems to have a different cause.

Try install the Amazon patched version from here in this forum instead.

If you still think this is an IMEI issue: I know people fake an IMEI via ASTRO File Manager (Metago) or ES File Explorer File Manager (ED Global) or XPosed IMEI Changer (Vivek.V). You should find all three on Google Play. I think you need to be rooted for all of them. For sure for the Xposed module, for which you also need a modded Android to dock into.

But first, have you tried taking out the 2nd SIM?

Thanks, an interesting observation about the TWO SIM cards!
Indeed I DO have two installed, albeit NOT online at the same time. Most of the time only WLAN is on, not the SIM cards.
Of course my tablet is rooted, as I explained with my XPrivacy 'identification' mods. I do have the Xposed framework and other goodies on board.
Also a few IMEI changer apps, but am not sure what I should enter, just another one? I quickly glanced at the version.xml file of Navigon and all looked OK to me (no "1234" or "1111" stuff inside).
Not that I am dependent on any navigation apps, but this stoic 'an error has occurred' is nagging me for years. I want to UNDERSTAND and also to HANDLE this weird issue on my phone and tablet.

This version of NAVIGON excellent works but not well kreknuta and only works when you are connected to the Internet and there is a problem to us and I need an APK that works without the Internet because here the story here if someone has version 5.90, which works without the Internet please to have him in the division

Update on my 'an error has occurred':
- the tablet had only ONE SIM card installed (but two slots)
- when ONLY activating the mobile data (WLAN off) Navigon complains about 'server connection error', this indicates that it does not 'see' the internet??
- when activating WLAN and optionally also the SIM the known problem 'an error has occurred' is displayed
- the tablet shows a reasonable IMEI number when checking
- the associated version.xml file contains really odd and old data (rev 5.9, different IMEI etc)
- entering my real IMEI in the version.xml file makes no difference, the error remains when starting the app

What I have NOT tried yet:
- swapping the SIM card to the other card slot
- adding a second SIM into the tablet and try either/both at the same time
- using IMEI fake apps (but WHAT to fake, what IMEI should I enter, the wrong one from the version.xml file?)

What does this cryptic and bland 'an error has occurred' really mean? It is NOT a connection issue, rather a 'verification' issue as far as I can tell by its behavior.
