Can't connect to PC or Mac (Mio 8670LM Truck)

Hi everyone!

I read some of the posts, but haven't found my answer.

I'm trying to update a Mio 8670Lm Truck, but, i can't get it connected on Pc or Mac, i don't understand.

Both computers (W11 and MacOs) are up to date.
I tried other plugs (it's a micro USB), but i can't get the Mio connected, neither recognized by both.

I'd like to update sofware and maps (Tele Atlas V15.1254).

Can anyone help please?

You don't know how to set device in connection mode? Provided that the device and cable are correct?
And you want to pay for 3 years outdated maps?

Hi and thanks for your answer, but you misunderstand what i meant.

The device is not recognized from both PC and Mac to update, normaly i don't have to pay for updating the device or maps, because it was paid for lifetime update.

I'd already started to read other threads about the same device and making some tweaks, like it starts with the minishell on SD card and now, i'm downloading the newests maps to see if it can take them.

To asprin624 ==> i read it already but there's a problem with the device itself i think, no computer can connect or see it.

PS: i tried to connect to Mac just for update normaly, but even on Mac the device isn't seen or recognized.

PS2: i opologies for my english, not very good, hope understandable.

Page 48 of the manual has all the instructions on how to to connect to your PC.

Take the time to download the manual and read it.
It could be very helpful to you......
