It is not relevant for his problem.
When you use file managers which are not built into the system, you can not install every apk.
This also occurs in the Nougat version of Android.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I asked if he has Oreo because I read around that only Pal would support Oreo.

It is android 7.00 and you are right I installed it only by using the buld in file manager.

Yes, of course.
I think you will have a lot of trouble with the resolution. It's barely made for QHD, for this is even trickier. 16:9 ratio was not planned at all.
Let's wait if @wojpen can help.
Edit your post and add precise values for portrait&landscape.
Also check if you have app scaling in display options. My LG have option to set app work in 2160x1080 (problem), 2004x1080 (big problem) and 1920x1080.Last edited by Boki; 4th January 2018 at 12:52 PM.
