I have replaced the loading.bmp file as you said, but nothing happend, it was not enough, still the old starting image.
Then, I found a loading.zip archive in the ux folder and I tried to replace the loading.bmp image there too. (ux\loading.zip\ui_nextgen\res\common\mdpi)
Now everything is ok, I have my own starting image. Thank you.

what's the default setting for vertical position of the cursor in map settings? I changed it but I don't remember the default! 73%? thank you
this vertical position affects the GPS accuracy position?

My nextgen keeps losing the settings and I have to set it up all over again. It seems to lose the settings randomly. It could day a few days of use or just one day. Seems random.
I am using the latest Pongo skin. here is what I tried:
Uninstalled nextgen, deleted save folder and reinstalled.... that didn't work
Then tried an older version of the pongo skin... that didn't work either.
Also, when I set the key beep to mute and exit and start nextgen again the volume is back up on key beeps. This happens every time... very frustrating.
Anyone else have these issues? Any ideas?
Delete folder save, then
Add in sys.txt:
[interface]
save_checksum=0
and runs once more!
A little design issue...
I am using two versions of nextgen with different skins. One starts from iGO_NextGen, the other from Gena_iCarNav. For me it would be nice if the icons for the programs would be a little more different in colour. I have seen different ones in pictures here in the forum but I couldn't find a source for the appropiate apk.
