Apart from the line in the above manual, and in an old primo from 2010 that is not topical and relevant today, NNG has not published a tutorial on how to plan navigation according to an image.

Aa for Pal with PONGO we are OK - Just create a "photo" folder in DCIM > Camera for that.

As for LUNA - Although such a possibility appears in the "Planning a New Route" menu, I have not found (yet) a way a/o the location to 'revive' it there.

I did a lot of tests but without success.
Either I am missing something or something is fundamentally missing in LUNA as is, which makes it impossible to do so.
Or of course, that I do not have the knowledge for it.

When you publish pictures with options, switch language to English.

In Luna it works on every skin, pongo, wal24, garigor, VAG

My LUNA is default_skin.

Besides, I also did not search for the activation of the image through a "Button" in main screen BUT, through "New Route" screen (as I showed in #742).

I recommend writing specifically, users will not spend time on this, since the Moon in the default skin is very rare in use, or create a separate topic.

It's part of the process to find a solution for @cristianyxtl and it's irrelevant to "travel" with a variety of answers to different tests, to other THREADs.

Obvious things
What is skin in iGO nextgen (Luna), it is a set of UX plugins. The UX plugin has its own purpose, it reveals the possibilities inherent in the navigation program itself. In the default skin, such a set is minimal and hence there are not many program functions to use. Now let's take the pongo skin, all the features of the program are revealed to the maximum. This functionality familiar in the iGO pongo nextgen skin has been transferred to the updated Luna program.
All the wishes of users over the years have been added to the skin. Now the choice of the maximum skin by the user is obvious, you can use not all the functionality of the skin, but only part of it, but to have a useful supply of functions on the road.
This is a separate topic for the pongo skin where you can discuss how it works, as well as try to use what is not included in the pongo skin.

Now we are waiting for the update of the pongo skin in both versions of iGO nextgen (Luna), all the necessary testing of the updated skin has been carried out.
Possibly in May 2022.
