Did you try by changing schemes?
Hello, I can find no mention about these strange fonts. I posted several months ago for help but no one has any idea then.
I have nextgen pal that is working OK.
I tried lots of different skins and tried to edit font settings. But normal font settings do not affect these special fonts.
They are always 2 colours and the colours change depending on the map. They are very difficult to read as the outer colour is contoured around the inner colour.
Does anyone no where the settings are for them or how the colours can be fixed i.e. made in to 1 single colour.
I would really appreciate any advice, thanks.

Hello, thank you for reply.
I have noticed these fonts for a long time through different versions of igo, (israel, world, pal, etc) and have tried many skins / themes.
Has nobody else ever seen them?
They tend to be used to describe an area of interest?? such as golf coarse, airfield etc. rather than specific item like a street name or town. But not always.
Possibly it might be something that appears in certain locations, I have no idea. I'm in UK so use UK / Europe maps.
I haven't tried any others.
@cdicky
These are some special or interesting places that the map maker includes their names on the maps.
In my example below are the Here map images in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

IMO
?? there was once an ux for font adjustment; I never tested it and only saved it on my PC. maybe try it once?
?? In addition, the font information for the identifier should be found in a data.zip. maybe use the data.zip from the Skiner (Pongo?) ??
!++ no guarantee of success **!![]()
