Find out what is proper path for drives.
"/mnt/usbdriveX" is system nomenclature standard, not for applications. Install for example X-Plore File Manager or TotalCommander for Android and find it.
Device: Honda Civic HU
Resolution: 1080
Application resolution: 1080
Rooted: Yes
Android version: 4.2
Navigation software: iGO World 9.18.27.736653
Maps edition: HERE Q3 USA
Skin? NO
Additions? No
Everything runs fine on internal storage. There'2 two USB ports, mounted at:
/mnt/usbdrive1
/mnt/usbdrive2
When I configure sys.txt to work with a secondary root, which is set to /mnt/usbdrive2/iGo, it doesn't work, never even goes to the splash screen. The iGo folder on the USB drive is the same as the internal one. I also have content set in the sys.txt to look in the iGo/content folder.
The reason I'm trying to move maps to the external drive is that the internal storage on these is very small.

I thought that it was. I took a screenshot with Total Commander. Is this correct?

No. It is still system look
Take position in USB drive, access some of folders there, then look at the path. Use X-Plorer and disable root access from its settings.
I suppose that will be
/storage/emulated/1
P.S.
One question:
what are they intended for? USB ports, from your HU manual?
There is high possibility that iGO can not properly access USB. It is not same data transfer standard as on SD cards. Therefore, the factory navigation to access the software still leaves SD slot in unit, never USB.
USB - serial transfer, SD - parallel

I checked again. That looks like the file.
On this model, the usbdrive1 port is the android auto or apple auto port for devices, the second is just for storage or, an ipod.
Also, I'm getting this odd shutdown warning despite the lines in the sys.txt:
[power]
battery_warning_limit=0
powermgm_state=0
treat_charging_as_ac_line=1

I'm not sure, that you are even know, what you want to have. Your HU has two USB slots, but I am pretty sure that there is also one sd card slot, for Navy only.
If there is no sd card slots, then let's talk about iGO...
You cannot have two folders named iGO on your device, one on internal and one on external... Thats why it doesn't starts.
Further, what does you try to have? Whole iGO folder on external, or iGO folder on internal and only secondary root with maps content on external?
Based on your screenshots, you try to get iGO working completely from external, but you don't have sys.txt in that iGO folder. And if you want that, you have to completely remove any iGO folder from internal, put everything in iGO on external, and you have to edit your apk file!
Your sys.txt probably doesn't have lines
[folders]
linked_root_list="/mnt/usbdrive2/"
because they are not standard. You have to add them in sys.txt, but problem is, that you have to add this lines in sys.txt that is packed in your apk file, so that installed iGO World knows where to find data folder.
So, I think that for you is easier to put iGO on internal, and on external create /addons/content/ and put there all map and poi folders.
Then you ad in your sys.txt
[folders]
has_secondary_root=1
android_secondary_root_path="/mnt/usbdrive2/addons"
Then it will works.

I just have a folder called iGo on the external USB. There's no sys.txt.
Also, this is a Honda Head unit. As far as I can tell, there is no SD slot. The diagrams don't even mention it.
If you have only iGO on external, without sys.txt , where is that sys.txt, in which you have these [power] settings?
There is an iGo directory on the internal SDCARD directory. That is where it's reading from. If I turn off secondary root then things work fine.
