Question Nextgen icons, what do use to convert to SVG?

I didn't see any other area to post about graphics for nextgen so I posted here.

some of you know I did the North American gas station and some restaurants for iGo Primo. I have been trying to convert the png/bmp files to something useable for Nextgen (SVG obviously). I've used many online tools to convert them and adobe illustrator, they look good in Windows explorer, but I have yet to figure out how to get them to show in a ux file.

I've taken other gas station ux and injected a gas station using exactly the same format and it still doesn't work. I had some of my icons show up but it may have been a different version number. The only thing I can think of is the software version? I'm using igo_pal at the moment.

The only thing I have working at the moment is self-made POIS in the usericon folder.

Edit: a little grammar and other info.

In fact, we've already discussed creating SVG icons
Master Alain gave some useful tips, but in general - a lot of work and knowledge of the appropriate software

I'll post a link to the discussion when I find it, or if someone else remembers before me. I have many obligations and not enough time

    Cool.

At one point I had some test icons working on Nextgen but the graphics were partially cut off. I wasn't sure why at the time, but now realize it was surely the different views/sizes that the icons should have on the visible area of the map, whether close are far. But the last time I accomplished this was a couple years ago, so I don't recall. I have a feeling I was on a different version of Nextgen. "Basarsoft" Comes to mind, but isn't that Primo?

Android Primo existed both in Basar and Israel edition, same as NextGen
