    Question Speed limits wrong in Spain

    Hi all,
    Ive just retuned from Spain using primo HERE 2023_Q2 and global_cfg from January 2023. In Spain about half the main road speed limits are wrong in towns only a few were wrong. France and the UK all limits were correct.
    Does anybody know which version has the correct speed limits for Spain for my next trip?

    Write to Here about the fact that the speed does not match, or wait until HERE knows that the speed limit has been changed. Sometimes the speed in certain areas remains unchanged for 5 years; they don’t have time to keep an eye on everything.

    And why old maps and global cfg? Now is 2024
    Speed limits are constantly changing in some areas, and in latest maps will probably not all be correct.
    Try with newer maps:

    or

    also use latest global cfg
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hi the maps and typo global_cfg jan 2024 were the latest available when I set off in January. I didnt have any problems in the past nine years with older versions, even in France when limits were reduced and then some areas changed them back again.On some roads the displayed speed limit would change two or three times in a few klm with no signage or reason for it. Is it the maps or cfg which determines the speed limits?
    Ive downloaded the latest maps ect thanks for the links.

    If there is no specific speed limit defined in map, then limit for that type of road is used from global_cfg.
    Just like in real traffic rules.

    I think I might of figured out what why i am getting random speed limit changes in Spain as it has to a lesser extent just done the same in France. I have the settings as a truck but under 3500kg I think the speed limits might be changing from truck speed limits to car speed limits randomly, because when set as a car the speed limits were correct.
