custom speedcam icons and types

Hello there, I read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and default types.
I can't understand if we have opportunity to define custom types and if we can put custom icons in the map.
For example I'm not interested on school alerts but I rather want to see railroad crossings.
Am I missing something? Thank you in advance for your reply

It can be done, but it is a little complicated, there are several ways to achieve the same result.

For example I'm not interested on school alerts but I rather want to see railroad crossings.

But railroad crossing is already included in the categories that you can alert and see the icons on the map, just have the speedcam txt files that includes it, if you only use spc files that category is not included.
