    WIN CE Igo Primo and Falc F-series strange satelite problem

    i have a strange gps satellite lock problem with Falk F-Series (Falk Marco Polo) winCe device 480-272px
    Spoiler: img
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    i have some experience adding igo on pda devices but this one is frustrating.
    On igo 8.3.5 everything is working fine,didn't spend testing to long
    Spoiler: img
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    BUT when i tried to use Igo Primo i cant get gps signal to lock to a position.
    I tried igo 1.1,primo 2.9.6.5 and 2.9.6.13 and becker(9.6.13) with or without sys,
    ,only exe(no any .dll ), internally or on sd card, and result is the same.
    i get recognized gps(port,baud), i get signal from satellites, some of them become green like the supposed to do,
    but i cant get Locked position.No meter how long i wait.

    Have experience with it, all igo versions i tried are proven working versions on other PDA-s(more different models and types)(actual saved copies from them for backup), so only thing is combination of igo and device itself(except igo8),
    some google search advise deleting GN_NV_Store.bin
    GN_UTC_Data.bin
    i had only GN_NV_Store.bin but no luck and file is restoring after 1 or 2 rebots.
    so is it a mater of weekrolover? or something newer primo is detecting on internal storage(all traces of falcon navigation is deleted except ActiveSyncCoverApp.exe and games app folder
    so if anybody have advice why igo primo wont lock gps position please help

    p.s. its not relevant but
    also made to work navigon7.7.5 very slow

    Hi
    I get recognized gps, I get signal from satellites, some of them become green like they supposed to do, but I can't get locked position. No matter how long I wait
    Yes but having green satellites does not mean that FIX will be kept good

    I have the same issue on some devices... due to the 04/2019 GPS bug

    The only way is to install (if existing...) a specific patch on your GPS

    No i don't achieve lock even if satellites are in green, gps is spinning searching satellites, possible to find-lock position.
    In Becker build (also exe 9.6.13) it locks satellite example 5/6 and gives position but wont display that position, it stays in default position
    wher is when its first turn on-starts

    this is pda with winCe, not firmware dependent like tomtom,or garmin. Igo primo exe file comes with dll for gps receiver ,like other dll you find in primo folder for tmc and Bluetooth,I think, not so sure, i´m not expert, so there is some sort of 04/2019 GPS bug in data.exe for primo for this device gps chipset-not updated? or i don't know.
    So thanks but I`m still waiting for support-help regarding this

    Edit sys flie. If is now :
    [gps]
    port=auto
    baud=auto

    edit:
    [gps]
    port=1
    baud=4800

    NOOO, you are missing the point, if i didn't have correct port and baud i wouldn't have satellite bars and they couldn't become green right?
    thanks but like i mentioned i know a little about adding igo to pda. your advice is just for program to know on what port to communicate with gps chip-set. Primo has it automatically searching for gps device. device is recognized-found, that is not the problem. i know my is on port2 and baud 57600 and i wound put it if i have problem with it.(Also in save folder igo correctly recognize port and baud in his system.ini) .
    So my problem is still not solved

    Default adendum

    Today's addition
    today i am even more confused. i tried nextgen for WinCe and it also works( but slow -certainly)
    Spoiler: pic
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    it find satellites and lock position, just like igo8.

    Then i emptied completely internal storage and named folder like falks navigator, copy primo inside(bild i didnt try winCE-iGO Primo 9.6.13.319729) , named falcnavigator.exe, one map ,sys with port and baud (just to check).no fonts,no dll-s, no spedcams ,no branding and..
    And still no effect, no gps lock!!!!
    Spoiler: pic
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Smart thing shroud be just to walk away, to turn back and don't bother with it again. But i still think there is life in this navigation. it doesn't have a scratch on it, like new, and i changed battery so like new.
    What is wrong with primo build and this device to be not compatible??????
    One more thing, just realized that device wont read micro sd of 16gb, so i thing it only read up to 2 gb sd, wit what i tried primo also, nothing different, no success

    Try version 9.6.13.267029
    or 9.6.5.245577

    P.S. Falk Falk F3 / F5 / F8 / F10 / F12 do have problems with Week Roll Over.

    Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    tried 2 versions of 9.6.5.245577 same data because i3 version was with only 800px so i copy from other package.
    tried also 9.6.13.267029 with all the dll that was in the folder and still no luck, same behavior

    i really don't know why igo 8 and nextgen(9.19.5.653580) WORK, but primo versions,all of them starting from 1.1-2.0-2.4 wont work. what is so different in them. do i have a bad data.zip or what? data.zip for 2.0 and 2.4 are not compatible so it cant be it. Really confused

    Yeah...
    Try with regular update software (Falk Content Manager Classic or similar, I forgot which one is exactly) and then try all of Primo
    because Falk had the problem before 6 of April
    and then maybe:
    Calibratefix

    @darko116,
    Have you found solution. If it's any consolation i had the same issue on Falk F5 and NavGear GT-43T-3D. iGO8 works great fix is very fast, Nextgen works also great (gps wise) fix is also very fast. Primo no matter the version is always same. It finds GPS sattelites some of them are green but no lock on them, also no information below that on time, connection quality as it is shown on other models.
    Really strange, i tried i think everything but never found solution or reason of this issue.
