I believe some contributors to this thread are getting confused between on-route warnings while navigating and off-route icons cluttering the maps. If you want to keep the warnings for crossings which are on your path while navigating, but remove the clutter of off-route pedestrian and rail crossings on the map, you must find the icons in data.zip and make them transparent. So far I cannot explain how to do this but I am experimenting... If I work it out I will post instructions unless someone else can help
