Check your data.zip first
There must be file poi_mapdistant.bmp in folder (depending of device resolution) ui_igo9\800_480 (480_272, 480_234, 320_240)
Or it could be problem with skin.
If You are using any skin, try with default skin.
After driving for about 6 miles the following message appears on the screen and the program shuts down.
$poi_mapdistant.bmp / failed to open / exiting program
Can anyone suggest a reason for this.
Thank you.

Missing file poi_mapdistant.bmp
folder common -data.zip, branding.zip or skin
data.zip - it should be only one

Thank you for all your replies.
I have looked through the program and the file "poi_mapdistant.bmp" shows only in
data.zip/ui_igo9/800_480
I can't locate in any other folder.
Is this correct.
Thank you
Hi,
I've searched through all my Win CE Primo installations, and in one "iGO Primo 2.4 - 9.6.13.319729" found folder ui_igo9 with that file for various resolutions.
So it should be part of some skin i have with that istallation (I never used it).
Unpack attached RAR file, and copy complete folder ui_igo9 to folder iGO, or whatever is named and try.

Hi Buddy:
This is the image file that you are missing:
- look Attached image -
Here you have a file
Link: ...
This post requires you to click the "LIKE this post" button and hit F5 to read this content.
The contents of the folder "common" copy without unpacking the folder "common" in data.zip, or branding.zip (if you have branding).
This file and location - "fix" all resolutions
regards wojpen
Folder "common" is packed in file ui_igo9.zip
Content of folder common is file $poi_mapdistant.bmp
So, how could be CONTENT of folder common copied without unpacking?
Confusing
WHAT exactly to copy (file ui_igo9.zip as is, complete folder common (unpacked from ui_igo9.zip) or file $poi_mapdistant.bmp from folder common), and
WHERE to copy (top folder of data.zip (branding.zip) or in some subfolder (ui_igo9 or ui_igo9/common)?
I think that folder common should be copied in subfolder ui_igo9 of file data.zip or branding.zip
So path to file should be data.zip/ui_igo9/common/$poi_mapdistant.bmp

or in the case file branding:
branding.zip/ui_igo9/common/$poi_mapdistant.bmp
Thanks Midnight Blues for precision - exactly what it was!
