For a start Norton is one of the worst AV programs I have ever come across for false Positive in my IT Career, so get rid of it.
A lot of these Fix programs are safe, because they have been modified "hacked" to circumvent code. So these will sometimes come up with an AV+ so if others have used it and it works then it's OK turn you AV off, setup your program then remove the downloaded program to a RED USB stick " I do" and put it aside for other programs that have key Gens etc as these some times also get AV+. Just make sure when you put the stick back in you turn AV OFF. easy peasy.

Virus Detected in software downloaded from this site
Hi Everyone. I have made several attempts to download .rar files and .zip files to transfer to my tomtom go910 satnav. The files were connected with the QuickGPSfix to save using TomTom Home. Each time I have tried this Norton has removed the files immediately reporting a high risk Virus Heur.AdvMLC. Any views on this please.

Followed the advice given and now installed on my tomtom go910. Had this device from release and can't bring myself to ditch it while it's working. Sad I know.

Glad you have your device updated, just keep a eye on your AV if you have similar problems down the track.
