Unicode version is for nuvi 3xxx and 2xxx . Usually older devices display map correctly but there can be problems with address search. It can happen you search and it doesnt find anything: can be bad if you are lost somewhere
I want to know if City Navigator Europe (Unicode) NT 2013.10 works with my Mobile XT 5.00.20w on WM 6.5.
The full IMG file is too big for its 2GB file size limit. Downloading and installing the full MapSource version would be a terrible waste of time and Internet bandwidth.
I really only need a small IMG file for testing.
Greece or any of the East European countries would be good (small file size, Unicode needed to properly display the foreign characters).
I looked around and could not find anything.
Any ideas?

You have to navigate to get to the good.

CN EU NT U - City Navigator Europe NT Unicode work with Nuvi 1300- using cyrillic and find adress, LA and etc.
@rabotnia
Read the post by catymag above yours. 1xxx series will not be reliable with search functions using CN EU Unicode. Use the standard CN EU in your 1300.

@roger1109
Not a typo, just making the point that the correct map to use for the 1300 (or any 1xxx, 2xx, etc) is not the Unicode but the standard/ordinary/common/more widely used/original version (interchangeable words in this context) map, i.e. the CN EU (which is universally recognised as the NON-UNICODE version NT) as distinct from the CN EU U (UNICODE NT). It's perhaps a matter of semantics but i would think even ppl with a limited command of english would know that was meant, and that i was not referring to NT as distinct from non-NT. This thread, after all, is about the differences between "CNEU NT and CNEU NTU". However thank you for removing any doubt.
To be perfectly clear, CN EU[NT]U is only for 2xxx/3xxx. CN EU[NT] is for any others capable of running NT maps.

Users reported NTU maps address search now is working fine on 1xxx devices.
NTU map is mandatory on Nuvi 30/40/50 if you want to have working JCV ,coz NT map download doesnt give a suitable .JCV for these Nuvi models.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Work also JCV for NTU: D3168070A.JCV !!!!
Same JV (3) in my test track .... only seem slightly blurry, but I should first try with the JCV and NT to make a definitive judgment
