It is outside the country of purchase and looks like I've just bought an expensive paperweight. Would this unit have encrypted firmware or could the region lock be fixed like a garmin Alplha can be, if it was compliant from an RF perspective?
Does anyone have any previous versions of the firmware for this unit?
