I see that this FW have the same PCB number like US/EU unit so we can flash this FW on EU/US unit
Found out that EU/US have LaneAssistPortraitFull but this FW have LaneAssistPortrait.
Loly, do you know if the India 42/52 localization JCV files are the same encryption as the US/EU nuvi x0/x2 ones, or maybe are they the same as the other US/EU encryption, eg 1xxx, 3xxx, 7x5? If the latter, maybe we could adapt this fw to give more flexibility for use of JCV files on US/EU XX?

I have a US 40 and AU 50. I'll flash this fw to one of them when i get time and report [unless someone with an IN localized unit tries first].

Needs more tinkering to get this to load successfully. AU 50 converted to 52 flashed with HWID 1613 boot.bin and the IN fw_all.bin results in updater.exe reporting a successful loading.... but when unit boots it only display the logo for a second then turns off, so i thought maybe the original US boot bin was not compatible with the IN fw. Flashed back to US and then tried the full IN as out.rgn but no go. It wouldn't flash. I got the 'you got a problem' message:
Tried with full IN with HW override to 1613 but same message of course. Any ideas Loly?
PS: This fw also has an additional PCB P/N of 105-02110-00 as well as the other US/EU ones of 105-01900, 105-01901, 105-01902. Is that significant?

For 42LM/52LM, 2015.10 version of maps has been released. I'm unable to update the maps using garmin express. Then I wrote to Garmin support and following is what I received from them.
Your device is a India version nuvi42LM device. Currently Garmin Express does not support map update for India version devices. Please download map update from the webpage below:
