    What green button?

You go in menu like in pdf tutorial and click on update button and DNX start update.

    Look in tutorial:

    I have
Done that about 50 times bro, even the guys at autobahn gave it a go, wiered that webupdater says the unit is up to date , how do I find a link for earlier fw that can be uploaded via USB, like 1.7.0 then try 1.9.0 , just didn't want to get the wrong one or it could brick the device , I even took the link you gave me copied it to a blank 2.0 USB took it to a camera shop and told them to burn at 2x and finalise it $10 later no update button with your link on cd USB , USB 2.0 ,sd card, feel I'm running out of options

Webupdater is for update Garmin FW and have nothing with unit FW. ( UNIT FW and Garmin FW ar two different thing)

Add CD in your unit and go in menu ( System information) where you have version and Bluetooth Modul version and take a photo and upload it here.

This is window for update UNIT FW

    kenwood

    p.s.
Your car engine must RUN and you must lock handbrake when you add CD in unit and try to update.
When you ar in System information window you click on update button beside Version and update must start if you dont have here vriten 1.90.

In PDF tutorial you have written this:

    Precautions
    • Use the Disc media as the update media. CD-R/RW or DVD-R/RW is
    recommended.
    • Update cannot be performed with other media (USB memory device).
    • Be sure to park the vehicle in a safe place before updating. Keep the
engine running in order to prevent battery from running out.

    • Do not turn off
the engine or Navigation/Multimedia receiver power
while updating. Update cannot be performed correctly and the
    Navigation/Multimedia receiver may become unusable
