Of course, because you've got nothing loaded. You must first OPEN an RGN or GCD file to see it's various BIN files. To do that either drag the file onto RGN_Tool.exe OR open RGN_Tool and drag and drop the file onto the GUI's 'File Drop Zone' OR open RGN_Tool and press 'File' > 'Open RGN/GCD' [or press the big 'Folder' Icon below 'File' button] then browse to the required firmware file. When you have the fw file open, press the 'Save' button on the first section holding 'boot.bin' and save it as 'Ldr.bin' to use with your text command. [More than one way to skin a cat

If you're still stuck, here it is anyway. Extract the rar file to find Ldr.bin.

Interestingly, I have similar problem with 2689. I can't find gupdate.gcd (Firmware) anywhere under Garmin directory as the picture shown.

Manually search for directory .System is not available and no found for *.gcd under any directories.

I think that your device is set to MTP

Now I see the .System directory.

I think some members encounters the same problem so that they won't be able to complete the backup process.

Which region needs to be backed up for Nuvi Drive 61? just 154 only?

In older devices nonvol is in region 41, in newer it's in region 154. If one is populated the other is empty anyway. I think your Drive 61 has MTP setting so will write to 2/: for the microSD, 1/: being the path to the internal RWFS. Dumping both regions will get the backup one way or another:

Thank you @buddyboy087, i found that anytime when we execute rgn commands, Garmin Device saves output as logfile within region 12. entire command set is stored with output. Just wanted to share this information.

Did not get to backup on nuvi 2639 lmt - do everything strictly according to instructions: after insert the memory card into the GPS device at the top illuminates the "load" for a second and then the screen freezes and all! what to do?
