nuvi 2495 Glonass stops starting

Hello all.
My nuvi 2495 LMT Glonass stops starting on Garmin screen. Switching to the computer- the same result.
What was done. I deleted from the voice folder my files- Russian and Russin Elena and paste Tatiana TTS.
Is it possible to fix that problem?

You must use kunix's cure.

After loading cure, pc will see it, delete offending files, reload original firmware and copy again the right voices (Russian and Russian Elena) or run Webupdater.

Be sure to use the right HWID firmware, if you have a backup look for it in garmindevice.xml in Garmin folder: search for '<PartNumber>006-Bxxxx-00</PartNumber>' or if you have a firmware you flashed earlier, load it in RGNTool and see.

Now switching to the pc is ok. But it is impossible to switch it on. Garmin screen appears andаfter a few seconds the display becomes dark (off).
So it is impossible to start it on

Have you re-flashed the ORIGINAL firmware after removing the incompatible voice file? If the Cure fw is still onboard the unit it cannot boot. See:

Here is a special firmware patcher for creating cure firmwares. Patched firmwares enter the mass storage mode immediately, without going through the normal booting process ( e.g. they don’t display “Loading maps…” and so on). That’s why they don’t crash or hang up, therefore, they can be used for curing. It works even if your device was formatted into NTFS.

Remember: Please note that the CURE firmware will never boot, it can only enter the mass storage mode. After curing flash Original device firmware.

You forget to give conclusion! Do not copy TTS2 or TTS3 (Tatiana for example) voice files to Nuvi 2495!!!

Thanks 'Captain Obvious'. I think that's been well established now, at least by implication. But seriously, thanks for making that plain as it's a very good point. Incompatibility of vpm file seems to be a bricking cause more commonly nowdays.
