Transform a Nuvi 37xx in a Nuvi 34xx for dummies

Oh ok, I'm actually accepting what he said but yeah I guess I don't understand what he means because of the difference in knowledge. In that case, how does one enable all features for a 37xx that is converted to a 34xx firmware? Just follow the instructions in the original posts and that's all about it? The instructions popotnik mentioned isn't applicable in my case?

Just use the latest microSD method at the end of post #1 to enable all possible features. It will convert your 37xx to 34xx, change the logo and enable the extra features in one easy step. Be sure to do a files backup and NV backup first as well and rename/remove the files detailed in post #1, and also clear nv before and after flashing. Read the whole of post #1 so you have a clear understanding of what you're doing before you do it though.

For all other nuvi who use region 140 here is only reg 140

I've already done that 2 weeks ago and everything seems fine. I'm just curious of the unfamiliar method mentioned above in enabling features.

What is the difference of this compared to the procedure in the first post?

Difference is that in this is enabled also PhotoReal JCV and Natural Guidance but pack in first post don't have this data enabled.
Flash procedure with SD is the same

OK, i thought you were confusing the 2 methods thinking that they were for the same outcome.

I've flashed your sd pack and it's enabled PhoneLink (I hadn't bothered to enable that before as I don't have an Android smartphone) and PhotoReal JVC, but not Natural Guidance.

I've remade the pack for 3590, would you like me to try it on that to see if it maybe enables ALG on that?
