Hi....aekhong, I have a Nuvi 765 Sg/Mal original device with FW v.2.50 . How can I make it work with Thai-TTS Narisa. ( I simply downloaded the file & paste into my device and it showed " incompable audio version ") please help.
After having the problem of rebooting in my device now I am able to recover it back to original file version 2.3.
Now I try to update the firmware with TTS voice by putting the file in in sd card\garmin but the device doesn't detect the file GUPDATE.
how to convert nuvi 760 HWID 870 to SgMal 765 ?
thank you !
Can not convert Nuvi 7X0 --> 7X5
Is there a way then to restore back the previous FW version, the original one?

Hi,
I have found info about FW for nuvi 1360/1460 JPN, which (most likely) could be flashed to any of nuvi 13xx and enables:
- routes;
- highway mode;
- truck mode;
- ability to switch between MSAS/WASS and normal GPS mode;
- POI icons and compass in 3D map mode;
- quick 3D/2D mode switch (via compass icon);
- google local search and pictures, weather and flights information (internet access via bluetooth and DUN capable cell phone);
and some more
I have tested it on nuvi 1390 and it worked OK (DUN also worked).
I have found one minor issue, when adding address waypoint to the route, through "Routes" menu then map is not shown. But when adding it as a normal "via" point through "Where to?" then it works OK
