The general info is in post #1. What step do you get stuck at?Quote:

Use GPSTool at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to see if you are able to get a locked. Pay attention to the stability of the locked. If GPS chip is working ok, then it's a StreetPilot issue. I have a phone that it's flaky on GPS locking because it tried to access both GPS and GLONASS. It would alternate locking between GPS and GLONASS.Quote:

Intel CPU is compatible with SP. I have installed working version on ASUS Fonepad ME 371MG rooted with Intel Atom Z2420 / Intel Atom Z2460, Android 4.1.2 - and it works perfectly.
Thank you to let us know about that. Sounds to me SGX540 works with SP2.16.
Galaxy Ace 2 i8160, Cyanogenmod 12.1 / Android 5.1.1, tried 2.36 and 2.37, path changed to storage\sdcard1\Android\data\com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext
Starts, can see maps, but cannot fix satellites. It shows "Acquiring satellites", and when I go to "satellites" section (click on GPS signal indicator on top left corner of screen) it shows 6-8 satellites, but still cannot fix the location after more than 30 minutes. It also asks me about the language and other options on every start.
I tried AndroiTS GPS test application - fixes the location in less than a minute, so the problem definitely is with StreetPilot only.
Any ideas how to fix this?
