Successfully installed to my S3 4.1.2, but anybody of you who have same issue with the GPS bar indicator on the top left corner, the first bar indicates red and remaining is in gray, whereas this should be all in green(depends from the acquired signal) if you are already connected to the satellites.
Hello. Install garmin on my galaxy s2 no root rom 4.1.2 without major problems.
Copy the garmin folder on the SD card, then install StreetPilot_216_no_root_sdcard.apk, create the folder Map and copy the maps from Mapear Project, then install StreetPilot_A80.apk to add spanish language.
Reset and then start the program.
But outside of what I read in the forum, from time to time, the program shuts itself and return to the main screen of the phone.
Anyone else have this problem???
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.
Same Problem. As you installed Mapear Project maps I understand you are from Argentina. Maybe the maps are the problem.....
Street Pilot is useless in my s2 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 as it freezes and exists very often. Sometimes it works but when you recalculate route it exits.
Perhaps we need to wait until more stable version.
I think it's version for non rooted phones freezing. You can monitor battery and see what is draining it, and see in Applications manager what is always running in background.
Guys are 16 files all attached ,so I must download and reup them all, I'll do when I'll have time.
Edit: files are now in post n2
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Yeah, I'm from Argentina.
When StreetPilot recalculates, freezes and exits.
When I look for a destination and want to see it on the map before starting the route, also freezes and exits.
Practically I can not use it, because it constantly freezes and exits.
First put maps from Project Mapear in the Map folder... StreetPilot freezes and exits.
Then delete the folder Map and replace the file gmapprom.img in the .System folder but also freezes and exits again.
Yes... when StreetPilot freeze and exits, is still running in background.
I should be rooting my galaxy s2 and retest the street pilot.
I will comment my test progress.
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.
I just did a test:
When I look for a destination and want to see it on the map before starting the route, StreetPilot freezes and exits only when GPS is ON and signal is OK. If GPS is OFF or is ON but no signal, dont freeze.
Magic?
