I installed a version of this SP 2.16 on a eGlober GM04, video interface unit which I have installed in a 2012 Mercedes SLK250
The GM04 is basicaly a modified MediaTek MT6577 cell phone, Google Play store lists the device as "ALPS MBK77_TWN_CU_JB"
It is listed as a non working device in post #1, but it is working perfectly for me. I am using an external Bluetooth or USB Antenna.
I have loaded StreetPilot_216_no_rooted.apk and an unlocked map and the garmin folder all in the right places, I think, on my Samsung Galaxy 2.
The application runs and the map appears and I can use it to find routes for POI type destinations, but if I put in a house address an egg timer icon appears to show it's searching and after a while ''Cannot find search results'' appears.
It seems that I am missing something for the search engine to work properly.
In other words I can't navigate to my chosen address ... why is this please?
How has been made that unlocked .img? Try to use an original file unlocked by gimgunlock
sent with my S5
This map already unlocked ...... Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU (Unicode) 2015.40 Full Europe included G2S (D2925180A.G2S), JCV(D3048180A.JCV High Resolution)+3D-Buildings.
Name of the map: OEM CN Europe NTU 2015.40
Created with Mapinstall 4.0.4
All unlocked
Don't use search bar but only WORKING way to search for an address is to create and use the "Address" shortcut.
