Hello, I'm just trying - any progress with using different dashboard ? Even hardcode it into apk ? This is the only thing that prevents me from using SP in car, because default 2 field dashboard is not showing enough information. I want to have alternate 5 bottom field dashboard.

Hi, just found this link I do like to share. It's a full folder structure for Garmin Street Pilot v.2.16 for Samsung Galaxy S3 with android 4.1.2 [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] Included is a APK for non-rooted Samsung Galaxy S3, but I have installed on my rooted S3 and it works!!!
Unrar, copy folder garmin to your internal SD card on your phone and install the included APK. That's all.
I have also use the the program FilderMount to move the Garmin folder from the internal memory (internal SD Card) to my external SD Card to save space on my internal SD Card.

I bought a replacement for my Padfone 2 that was recently stolen, from Taiwan. It came with StreetPilot 2.23 running on it. It only has Taiwan Maps, Chinese/English interface. I've managed to get it running Thailand maps, but struggle to change the text interface - voices are OK.Quote:

Update - I can't get this working on the Asus Padfone. It seems that none of the available libgarminos.so files are able to reference the actual storage location on the Padfone. Tried installing to SDcard0 and the default special partition used by the original install. Even when I just updated maps in the original StreetPilot locations, the maps were OK, but voice and text never work correctly. Either text was missing or voice was missing!

For bigger resolution, like me on Galaxy Note (1280x800), you can use the libgarminos.so from v2.14 and it will give you large font and better view.

Have you looked in .System ? In my uploaded .System there is Italy map as an example.
Detailed maps and other .img you can find in Maps index: users add the detailed map they need + timezone map, basemap, DEM map according to their region. Download them now because the ones in my Garmin.rar are old now.
For different resolutions must modify the libgarminos.so, you can find some files attached here in this post of mine
