Forgot to state my tab 3 is also on 4.1.2, guess different region comes differently.
I checked on the sosaw forums mentioned which provided other packages but none gives the exact resolution as tab3, 1024x600. Will try the version for tab7.7 you provide

My question on root arises when I tried to copy libgmxt.so to \system\lib and hit error of root required, similarly
when I was trying to change the permission with RE manager. Is there other software that can change permission w/o root?

For the few versions of apks I tested only once I saw the Garmin word and it aborted immediately, subsequent run gives "unfortunately street pilot stopped...". All other versions I just see this message

Is it better for me to use the Storage/sdcard0/Garmin version in #469 ? since it did not mention the need to work with ligmxt.so hence no root is required.

ORAK-Applications difficult to find the satellites and their signal is much weaker and often lost, while applications from the internal memory in a few seconds it all done.
So on my LG phone.
do you have any idea why this is so?

I forgot to write, problem is on external sd apk.

Finally I will start all over again.
Regarding your last post, I had plenty of vpm files the voice folder, comparing your language options with mines is the same, and tue volumen was always 100% (by hand pushing the up button).
Finally I thougt to reinstall the language options. I removed the Street pilot language additional app and it took off also the main SP app. After a reinstallation of the apk, including both .so files, something happened, and I can not change permissions to libgarminos, and SP starts with the battery icon issue, there is no language options and there is no maps detected.
Strange, It was working fine besides the Español_Americas issue.
I´ll start all over again. I´ll try the one posted by baghdadvaio, the 2.22 version for my rooted I9070.

Hello, Garmin Street Pilot all Voice Language and Text Language
for NO ROOT version & ROOT version
This will setup automatically the language's file. (x:\Garmin\Text)

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

No need for install Street pilot language additional app.
To change the voice or language of the Garmin StreetPilot go to
Settings - Language and select set:
Voice Language (89 voices)
Text Language (39 languages)

Awesome of you to bring SP 2.22 to our android devices and make it so easy for EVERYONE to install. I have yet to test on my I717 Samsung Note 1 but I am about to. I assume this will also only work on 4.11 and 4.1.2 Jelly Bean? And if this is SP 2.22 then shouldn't this deserve it's own thread? Thanks and rep+ given. Going off to test now.

Till now no official newer version has been cr@cked.
You can find the non cr#cked new official version in post 420.
In post n1 there are 2.22 versions posted since a lot.

I feel like such a noob! I don't know how I missed all that. Still much thanks to baghdadvaio for bringing it all together, Orak for the cr@ck, and catymag for making me feel so small.

Anyway, used baghdvaio's install files on my I717 Note and Samsung I497 10.1 Tab2 and all seems well. I'm going back to sleep now.

Your version is the best right now on my cell (mb526 with android 4.1.2): even tts works fine!

ok, I completely lost now.
I removed totally SP, to do a clean installation.
After remove the SP app, checked the both .os files are gone, and erased the Garmin folder, I tried to install again SP following the steps in post #1.
The thing is, SP is working. I have satelites fixed, no problem with battery icon, seams to work fine.
But, four things are wrong.
- Time zone is wrong (Checked with three different gmaptz files.)
- No maps detected (No matter the folder nor unlock it. Tried different maps that actually were working fine in my previous installation, but no detect it)
- Absolutelly no sounds at all. The language selection screen shows all the options brought by goodoane's app, but there is no sound. (Volumen button pumped up totally)
- Text language shows only two options: English_America and just "()".

No clues at all. Even I tried with baghdadvaio's version with the same result.
Is there other files installed by the apk in other folders? Maybe there is some files in conflict.

any help will be appreciated.
