Thank you, I was looking for opinions from owners of this model, whether it crashes, whether it loses range, how is the quality, ... in general, whether it is reliable navigation.

I would say that Garmin (in general) are most stable and reliable navigation devices if you compare them with some none branded cheap shi*t devices from China or even with many other known brands. In my opinion it's also most user friendly brand comparing to Mio, Tomtom etc., regarding map updates and navigation algorithm. Also, I never saw any garmin "crashing" or throwing errors. But nevertheless it's an electronic device and none of them is immune to various malfunctions or glitches which can occur. I have tons of experiences many of them so I think Garmin in price range as it's Drivesmart 55 could be ranked into best buy devices/series regarding price/performance/quality. But that's just my opinion, some may not agree with me from different reasons.

It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer. (Albert Einstein)
Thanks for the comments, I bought the navigation, my first impressions so far are good

DriveSmart 55 is a great GPS. New design with a full glass front panel and excellent performance. Super fast, no glitches. The only possible drawback is the battery life, which is not adequate for the processor. I suspect all Drive line have this problem.
Garmin are reliable stable navigation devices and excellent performance super fast.
I've been using the navigation for two months now, so far I'm satisfied, the only drawback, as mentioned in the comments above, is a weak battery, I bought it with an additional map for Bulgaria, which turned out not to be detailed, but it's not Garmin's fault, Happy Holidays
