Thank you - saves me some time.., But anyone know how to overcome this. Garmin insists that theirs is working if you e.g. buy it on a SD card (Doubt that!) However the card details seems to be okay; can the offset be fixed e.g. by adjusting the coordinates or similar?

Use the QSI versions - they don't have the offset problem, for some reason.

Default How useful are these maps?

First of all, thank you for the China map.

The offset is a very big problem. By offset, I mean that the map shows that you are in one location, but in reality, you could be 500 metre away (eg in the middle of a lake).

Recently, I got lost in Shenzen after a day trip to China (from Hong Kong). Navigation (ie walking as a tourist) is a problem - at one stage, I went in the wrong direction. I was using China City Nav 6.5 English.

Yes, this map is great if you want some idea of your surroundings. But if you want to navigate, buy the original. It's worth the money.

Great forum. We should all the thanking the moderators for their hard work.
