Unfortunately, i can't seem to get this running on I8510
it all installs fine, but closes after the garmin splash screen.. have tried V4 and V5.. oh well.. no gps for me for now!

There is a Samsung S60 version available from the Garmin site, google it and try that

When I go to "extras" > "manage data" > "mapsets" > it shows 2 maps and I can switch to 284. When I return which is the only remaining option it returns to basemap. I already generated new keys for device and map 284 the last one saved as GMAPPROM.UNL for GMAPPROM.IMG where I saved the map. Restarted , deleted reinstalled etc......no success. have you followed this?
Connect your unit as a removable drive again and open the SW.UNL file in Notepad. Paste the CARD ID unlock code in. Resave the file. If you are using locked maps, open GMAPSUPP.UNL with Notepad and paste in the map unlock code. You should now have unlocked software .(caution! you must remove txt ext with xplore coz you cant see it in windoz)
