Post here please your help request regarding Garmin

Just downloaded Thailand map v10.1 and got it working with my GPSmap60csx.

BUT downloaded mapsource version and cant open it with mapsource.
First was using mapsource 6137 and it said "cannot open unlock wizard"
Found unlock wizard on hard drive and unlocked it but couldnt see it in mapsource
Downloaded Rotweiler map, unlocked it, could see it in mapsource
Now upgraded to 6.16.3patched,but now have no unlocked maps and it has an online unlocker which maybe I need to register with first, but doesnt work yet.

So, which version mapsource should I use?
Where should I install it?
Which file do I put the maps in? etc.

I am hoping to beable to use the tomtom maps on my garmin soonas they are so good here

Hello Catymag,

I have updated two nuvi's with no problem after you help in figuring out the jetmouse and using mapsource. So I get a nuvi 205 follow the same steps and it completes and says data transferred successful. I disconnect the unit and then the nuvi 205 goes through the boot process and then loads maps, I agree to the warning and then I get a message no detail maps found that support routing. The nuvi cannot be used with out them. Can someone tell me what this means and how to fix. I have tried 3 times and same results.

I had downloaded two Garmin maps (both CNNA2011.1), part of a one-time update for two separate nuvis. The Web updater put in two indelible 'Unlocked Regions' which cannot be removed. I have deleted the older 2011.1 in favor of the newer 2011.3 maps, but the unlock codes for the older remains. Now I get two 'Map product not installed' messages, one for each hardware device. I cannot seem to track down where the unlock codes reside. The 'Delete' and 'Properties' buttons are grayed out and inoperative. JetMouse-generated keys are all removable, these are not.
Any ideas?

My garmin device is a10 from Australia
How do I install this file on phone
I have limited experience with computer matters
Any help or directions are most welcome .

On my LG Incite CT810, I have Garmin XT 5.00.20w installed and working successfully with worldwide basemap. I want to install CNNT NA 2011.31 as detailed mapset, I have this downloaded and extracted to a folder on my desktop. Using JM-KG-v1.5+5digit+checsum with map ID 2283 to create unlock code. Open Mapsource 6.16.3.0\utilities\manage map products\unlock regions\add. I copy and paste 25 digit unlock code directly from keygen window. Map manager window says map product not installed. I have read and re-read numerous posts/threads/tutorials and can't seem to understand where I am going wrong. Assistance is greatly appreciated.

i installed Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition software version 5.00.00 but my detailed map doesnt show.only the base map show.pls help

I went from 4.2 to 5 without uninstalling the previous version, though I had to install v 5 a second time to sort out a messed up screen.
