You could not view the piracy map with the previous firmware too, if your model is really Plus.
Please check carefully the model of your device by going to the menu: Select Settings > System > System Information > Software Information ...

I checked in the firmware settings and I currently have the 4.20 echoMAP Plus 92sv version. I entered the cartography but not the law. is there any method to bypass this anti-piracy protection?

What kind of map can you not view? What is its name and version?

One more version question ... Does your EchoMap unit have a touchscreen? The The EchoMap Plus 94sv models are touchscreen units. I ask because The Plus models do not use firmware version 4.2. They are currently using version 6.0 and started with version 5.x as I recall.

According to official statistics, the echoMAP Plus 92sv/93sv/94sv/95sv series never had the software version 4.20 :eam:

Hello everyone. I was researching an echoMap plus 92sv version 5.20, and to generate 90 more days each time the map expires, you just have to reset the computer. Keeping the button (- and power) at the same time. If someone has some form, it would be very helpful. regards

Have you tried restoring the original chartplotter factory settings via the device menu?
(Select Settings > System > System Information > Factory Settings)
Or is it not enough to reset the map expiration?

When resetting, all information is lost. It only works by pressing the keys (- and power) at the same time. It also works in version 6.0. Since the menu does not work, it is not a reset (Select Settings> System> System information> Factory settings)
