So you can use new version D3585020B.SID or save all SID if you has free capacity, device select files whats is compatible.
Ive used that files and seems to be selected by the device. What is the advantage of using SID files over others ?
Also do you know if my nuvi 2350 which didnt come with 3d buildings will use the file id i put it on the satnav ?
Its on the satnav and map is selected but not sure if buildings are shown.
some answers to my questions i already know. but nice to know your watching me!
i know it doesnt support 3d buildings when new, thought it may work if i add the file, if you go here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
It reads :
'Compatibility: Nuvi 7x5 series , the 3xxx series and 2xxx series
In 3xxx and 2xxx you can put it also in sd/Map folder with its name gmap3d.img'
i pressed like for download files, see page one and page two and pressed like for other questions

Hi
I'm very new at this forum and learning about my device that I have at home.
I own a Garmin Nüvi 50LM with USA & Canada included and Free LiftTime Maps.
I like to have even maps over Europe and I bought a SD card (8 GB) today.
I renamed my SD card to GARMIN and made a folder called Garmin.
In this folder (Garmin) I have now two files, GarminDevice.xlm and gmapsupp.img.
My problem is that now I have 3 img files with maps over europe, (1) western europe, (2) eastern europe and (3) scandinavia.
All those three maps have the same name that's why I ask what to do? Rename, make new folders under root (SD) or what?
Help, please.
My next question is about JCV (Junction View)?
Where to put that file? I have a file called D2504080A.JCV (Garmin CNEUNT 2013.10)
but I don't know in which folder on my SD card.
do I have to put this file to make it work.
thx
