Is it possible to use the 3D maps with the garmin nuvi 255?
Garmin XT Mobile doesnt support NTU maps or 3D.img, use NT.img and a file smaller than 2 gb
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Is it possible to use the 3D maps with the garmin nuvi 255?
Hi I have a Nuvi 3760 and I'd like to know if there is a guide on wich file I need and how to install ass many features as possible thanks
@java777
I guess you mean extra additional features other than those like standard features such as using JCV files, or those like LA & SLI which are embedded in the CNNTEUU map?
If so, maybe it's a tad OT here (but who am i to criticize)
If you want to just check what features your 3760 already supports, either look at your GarminDevice.xml (found in the Garmin folder of your device, and in it you can also confirm the correct paths for the relevant files too), or check on Garmin site for the specifications of 3760, here:
If you want to enable even more additional features, Read these threads: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Also go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to see how the features are used and where the files go. one comment and one request...
comment:
hope this version is a bit more improved than the old NT 2012.30, regarding details in the maps, used the 2012.30 with the Montana-600 on my by bike trip in Greece and Turkey and I must say that there where a lot of lakes and river just missing on the map.. and I'm talking about big lakes and big rivers not just the little streams are missing... Garmin need to do a bit more work there !
request:
would it be possible to add a few more hosts for downloading ?
this Zips***** site don't work for me at all...
thanks

Bye,bye
Hi this is all a bit confusing with all the various files etc.
I have the folowing Garmin units:
1440lt Europe and
3590lt Southern Africa
Is there no simple list of what files for the various units or SD Card with the required folders etc.
This is so i download the right files to place on the individual units without having to chop and change files.
Is there no single link that can be dumped onto an SD card?
Thanks a bunch guys for the good work.
ED
