Auto Drive Hellas 3.00 released today ...
InfoGeoData S.A. announces the release of the new version 3.00 of its navigable map with full Greece coverage.
The new version is offered to users as per our policy of free, regular and substantial updates, and includes the following main changes:
Point addresses.
Starting with this version, point addresses are supported*, for example, "67th klm of Athens-Thessaloniki national road".
For the time being it is available for the following road segments: Athens-Thessaloniki, Attiki Odos, Athens-Korinthos, Korinthos-Patra, Tripoli-Kalamata, Tripoli-Sparti, Athens-Sounion, Chalkida-Schimatari, Thiva-Livadia, Athens-Thiva, Lamia-Karditsa, Larissa-Trikala, Larissa-Volos, Larissa-Kozani, Karditsa-Trikala and Trikala-Grevena. Additionally, point addresses are available at a building level for Athens municipality and West Thessaloniki. This method results in increased accuracy, especially in industrial and labour-residential areas, and the ability to handle composite address numberings such as "8-10" & "55A".
Speed limits.
This is the first version that supports speed limits*. Speed limits are available for the following road segments: Athens-Thessaloniki, Athens-Korinthos, Korinthos-Patra, Korinthos-Tripoli, Tripoli-Kalamata, part of Via Egnatia and Athens-Thiva. In Attica, it is available for Attiki Odos, Kiffisos, Khfissias, Mesogeion, Katechaki, Schistou, Athinon, Syggrou, Chassias, Aigaleo ring, NATO, Vouliagmenis, Poseidonos, Vari-Koropi, Amfitheas, Veikou, Galatsi ring, Lavriou, Marathonos, Dionyssos-Nea Makri, Athens-Sounio, Anavyssos-Keratea, Markopoulou, Anavyssou, Agias Marinas and many other minor segments of the network.
Traffic direction indications.
Starting with this version, traffic flow direction is indicated using arrows.
Updates and additions of road network.
Street numbering updates: Mandra, Magoula, Fyli, Ano Liosia, Zephyri, Menidi, and Athens and Thessaloniki municipalities.
New segments added: Tripoli-Kalamata national road, Loutraki detour, Farkadona, Gerakari and Omalio (Larissa) detours, streets alongside Glafkos river (Patra), Lambou Mylous (Lesvos) detour.
Corrections have been included based upon many new and some older submitted user reports.
Next update is scheduled for September 2013.

Since last night and about 10:30 pm that the map was released here in Greece we have a testing fever to check all the new features that came with the new version. Well it looks promising but there's a lot of work that needs to be done, typ needs some modifications to improve map display in some cases and Speed Limit is there for a small part of road network. It's a start of a new generation for Auto Drive Hellas, we 're hoping and waiting for improvements to come ...
What about Starting with this version, point addresses are supported*, for example, "67th klm of Athens-Thessaloniki national road".
How it work? Is it visible on map under cursor or only searchable?

Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
It's a new capability in search function helping the user to find a certain klm in National Roads of Greece. I think screenshots can help us understand how it works.
After choosing Search By Address in all Cities
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
we type only "National Road Athens" (Ethniki Odos Athinon) for example
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
then we search for the results
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
we choose the one we want and then we type the desired klm
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
searching again ..
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and we ready to go ...
Thank you for your question Giomen, i think the answer will help users to understand how this new feature works ...
