Yes, I have checked with JDM it seems that there is no problem
Yes Img files are unlocked
It seems that they maps can not stand. Together in a Garmin folder
On my Oregon 600t unit, I’ve got the same problem as reported by Douro.
If I put the Benelux cycling map on the sd-card (folder \garmin), it works fine.
As soon as I put additional maps (CN2015, Topo Benelux) on the sd-card, the Benelux cycling map doesn’t work anymore. Simply because it disappears in the map configuration menu on the Oregon 600t, so it can’t be switched on/off. All other maps on the sd-card work fine.
With multiple maps on the sd-card, JaVaWa Device Manager doesn’t report any problem. JaVaWa sees all maps on the sd-card, including the Benelux cycling map.
I checked the Benelux cycling map with GMapTool. I found out that the typ-file in the Benelux cycling map has PID=0 instead of PID=1.
Could this be the cause of the problem?
How can I set the PID of the typ-file to 1? (it can’t be done with GmapTool ).
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
The problem is the TOPO Benelux PRO, it can not at the same time in your gps with the Benelux cyclingmap>>> that is a conflict just like with the topo norway experience part one and the other parts>>> the Onroute fietskaart Nederland works fine together with the Benelux pro on the same sd-card and i am sure that it is only a problem with the Benelux pro en the Benelux cycling; together in one sd-card makes the cycling map not visible into the maps menu.
I removed the Topo Benelux map from the sd-card, and found out that the Benelux Cycling map does work along with CN2015 on the same sd-card.
So I agree with Oinkman, the correct problem description is:
Garmin Benelux Cycling map V2.0 won’t work when put on an sd-card along with Garmin Topo Benelux pro v2.
Question remaining is: is there a solution or workaround for this problem?
See post #23: could the cause be PID=0 for the typ-file in the Benelux cycling map?
