If you want wider roads, you can change the TYP file. Other than that, it is not necessary to do so. Hope that helps

SO it means this version also have smaller roads just like the 2 older version that was posted here before?

Yes and I, too, am wondering why they kept that narrow road TYP when the wider road TYP is much better, IMHO.

guys im new to garmin and gps, i just bought a 2nd hand 205w model, my question is how do i know what version of map i am using and how do i change or update it using this contributors map or any latest philippine map, all your help would be greatly appreciated, tnx
