    @datumir

It depends on the mixed-up definition and usage of MB (binary prefix or decimal prefix). To avoid confusion one may use MB for decimal prefix and MiB for binary prefix usage.
    400.00 MB = 400 000 000 bytes = 400 000 000 / 1024 / 1024 MiB ~= 381.47 MiB.
    On the other hand 400 MiB would be 400 * 2^20 bytes = 419 430 400 bytes.

Very smooth and fast download of Alpenvereins-GMAPPROM.rar and Alpenvereins-POI.rar, both archives tested OK with WinRAR.
I assume the GMAPPROM.IMG is unlocked. Is this correct?

Now I still need the image with the AV map labeling: GMAPSUPP.IMG - FID 2424 PID 1 - unlocked - size 795 kB.
Can someone make it available (if it is really just 795 kB)?

    thanks!
Put it on a Removable Drive: a SD in folder Garmin and BaseCamp will see it. (Can't Print).Mapsource will not see)
    Or
Use GMapTool: to Split to C:/Garmin/FAM 2424 (can Print)
Or use Virtual Removable Drive ImDisk and place image file on folder Garmin.
    Or
put on Garmin device raster capable; like Oregon; I have not been able to use MobileXT or MobilePC.

    GMapTool:
I used GMapTool to install Alpenverein.. on PC. See above.
However I get Rectangles (showing map outlines) at Zoom like 200m.
Anyone knowledgable to remove outlines at zoom 200m etc.?
When I place map on SD these rectangles disappear at 200m.

    POI:
where/Folder do I put POI file? to use on BaseCamp and on Garmin Oregon?
    Do I need to unlock?
    Have tried but failed.. thanks.
