just use included installer [fully automated install & unlock & mapsource] if you want to use unlocked version

file structure from garmin DL FYI:
*You see 5 different JCV files [for different models & picture sizes] for Full coverage only, in the release there are 20+ different versions for different regions .
*2 versions for both ASR/SRX files [for FULL and 1 smaller region], different sizes but with same names
*3 versions for G2S [for FULL and 2 smaller region], all different names and sizes
*1 version for db [same in all regions], but 2 different files for different models
*1 3D, 1 sid & 1 tz file

To make it more confusing, you don't get all types off files for all different regions.
To make it more confusing, NA and EU releases have different filetypes [less JCV versions etc.]
To make it more confusing, LaneAssistFull is the high-res version and have different filenames and sizes for FULL and smaller regions
To make it more confusing, in NA LaneAssist is same as LaneAssistFull, in EU LaneAssist is same as LaneAssistMedium
To make it more confusing, in EU trafficTrends is same as trafficTrends2

This makes it very difficult to post files that work on every model and someone else may post a file that is not exactly what they think it is.

Maybe someone will post traffictrend files etc. and image file and make mirrors for mapsource version.

Download and installation works well. The installer also unlocks the maps. This is probably the fastest and easiest installation i have come across from Garmin maps. Thanks qwik.

Not everyone likes new working methods, but I think this is the best method for anyone who does not really know what he is doing. With all other methods you have to read instructions, remember paths and do things manually, and above all you must already have done it once before to have a working mapsource on your PC.

Granted...why complicate things if possible? I have yet to meet anyone except people with OCD who wish to do things the long way, lolz. Your installation/download is awesome.

I did notice that the .gmz file is not include and neither is the basemap. I dunno if it's different with 2012.10 but it's available on another torrent site that has a name similar to a devil

BTW, the .jcv file works fine on the 765T. It is twice as large as the original. Not sure it is larger because of the hi-res pics or there is more exits or junctions shown.

Please accept my apologies if this matter is already covered but I cannot find it. I have downloaded the mapsource version of the latest map but where can I download the image file that I can install or load to my Garmin 765t? With mapsource I can only load selected maps to my unit but I would like to load the latest map to my 765t. If there is already a post detailing how to do that, can you please direct me to where? I can't find it. Thank you.

Mapsource Deposit file link contains the original gmap folder locked, copy in :
Copy gmap folder in
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps) or
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)
and unlock it with :
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
or use the provided installer
