244 "A picture is worth a thousand words." A screenshot from my Oregon 450. By the way it's not only Lidl, there are dozens of other brand-proprietary icons on this map. on version 30, that particular branch of Lidl wasn't on the map (not only the icon, but it didn't exist as a POI on the map) and I noticed many more places added too. So, it is safe to conclude that POI's are enhanced / updated in version 40. Cheers.

Sorry but I have a VERY SILLY question:

Since the UNLOCKED maps work for EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY why do you upload and we download LOCKED maps? - to spend (all of us, separately) our time to unlock the same silly map. Don't you think we should change ATTITUDE? or ... I miss something important? being a .... newbie in this area...

By the way, any idea where I can find a POI file with speed-cameras for Europe?

The one reason is "If you yourself can do, so you always can do it anytime you want".

Probably you mean: "If you yourself can do (IT), THEN you can ALWAYS do it, anytime you want". (Do not be offended - I am not correcting your English [I am NOT a native English speaking person either(!!!), just trying to guess what you are trying to say]. Even the corrected version does not mean much to me - unless you make a word-game....

My position, in general, is: SAVE TIME, EFFORT & RESOURCES, UNLESS you do it in order to OPTIMIZE it, i.e. in order to save time/effort/resources in the future or for the others"

In our case now: Even if I/they (other people) know it and I/they can do it, WHY should I/they do it EACH and EVERY time I/they need it? (it is a only loss of TIME, EFFORT & RESOURCES!) Another word-game? Maybe ;-) Too much philosophy eh? - sorry

In other words: "I do not 'buy' it, I will 'buy' the catymag's straight and fair explanation". Unless I have completely misunderstood you.... ;-)

George (a GreekInParis, learning GPS and ... French, hahaha)
