I would suspect that is not the case as 2011.30 JCV file size for 7xx/8xx units are quite different (474MB) than the 1xxx/3xxx units JCV file size (578MB). Think those of us using older Nuvis still need the 1281070C.JCV file as far as I can tell and have not yet found it anywhere.

I have original D1281070C.JCV (direct from GARMIN) for 8xx series.................
