If you have generated a gmapsupp.img from the "crippled" Mapsource Version, then not. The original image should do it, however, don't expect address search in Korea like in other countries. It's more the same situation like Japan, where streetnames don't exist. So best option, navigate from POI to POI or if available, by phone number (not sure whether this is implemented)
Thanks for the help. Now I have to think if I need to bring along my garmin.
I am having trouble opening the .IMG file. It says the file is corrupt or unreadable. Did anyone else have this problem?
THanks
What do you mean by "opening the IMG file". Just copy it to your device and unlock it

You have to navigate to get to the good.

The file posted in post one is a complete map, some files are from the previous versions .
Gmaptool MS maps loose adress search as usual. Unfortunately GMapTool is unable to convert a MDR file form mapset into a format acceptable by Mapsource.

Thanks for your quick reply, catymag. I have used the gmapsupp.img version from post #1 (unedited) in my nüvi 350, but the moment I select Where to? -> Address, I am asked to "Spell State/Province". No input is accepted. The moment I touch the button, I get an annoying "No Matches Found". See screenshots below:
It appears the map does not have address search capability...
See also post #27 and #38. Not sure what you mean by your reply in post #28 though.
