It's called Garmin Discoverer 50K All v2.00. So I started zoomimg on the map. But didn't matter how far I zoomed I never saw real topo images. I kept zooming in on the second level map, never got to the tiles with image info like you see in post #1. BTW detail is on "high" and viewing only 2D mode. "Only basemap" is unchecked.

Also when selecting this map I got the message it wasn't printable, big deal but just mentioning it to check if this is normal and not part of the problem

    What's the problem?
Most Garmin maps have printing restrictions due to copyright protection. That could be seen in both BaseCamp and HomePort.

The GB Discoverer map should shift to different raster layers in BaseCamp depending on map detail level and zoom level.

    Map detail = High | Zoom = 15 km

Solved the problem with the new version. Is auto updating of Mapsource and basecamp save in conjuction with the patch versions of the .exe files? I've disabled it.

If you want the patched version you have to replace the patched.exe again after updating-

Only part #7 does not work, all other parts seem to be working fine. If anybody has got this part, could you post a link to this part? Thanks

Hi - First post. I've been trying to get this on my Dakota 20 for two days now and haven't managed it yet. I downloaded the files from the first post (even paid for 2 day premium to get them quick) but when I unzip them this is all the files I have -

    Screen

Everyone keeps going on about a .img file but, there just isn't one...!!! I've tried doing it through map source using JM and all the latest versions and it still won't get it. I have no way of getting this map onto my card/unit at all as there is no gmapsupp.img file any where to be found. If I unpack the Disk 1 .rar all I get is a folder titled Disk 1 and about a 1,000 files inside that folder, still no .img file....

I've managed to get the EIRE Discoverer maps on fine with no problem at all but there just doesn't seem to be a way to get a .img file for this map!

Please help for my sanity........ Many thanks!
