Thread: Garmin Topo Spain v.4

Hi,

Can someone help me ??

I use Win7 64b.
I have installed normaly Espanav4.gmap on my PC.(C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps\)
To unlock the map i have used Jetmouse(v 1.5) like my others maps, but I got the message "Unauthenticated"

So after reading differents post I have patched mapsource (6.16.2) and basecamp but the result is the same.
So what can I do now ??

But there is a problem i don't have any img files....
So i can't an unlocker.
How can i get an img file ??? Mapsource is empty (Map detail locked)

"Unauthenticated" message comes in gps if you dont have .gma file.
If your map in MS hasnt been unlocked by JM, it's not patched correctly.

When patched MS and unlocked the map ,send it to your hd (C:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img) and run Fast Img Unlocker on it to avoid the "Unauthenticated map" message.

In fact just by changing the version of MS from 6.16.2 to 6.16.3 all is now correct.

I've tried to install the Topo España V4 in my garmin extrex vista but I'ts been impossible. I'm really a newbie in this but could you tell me where can I find a tutorial step by step to install the Topo España V4 without having to pay for them. thanks.

I think it's not a size matter.

Shortly, I'm going to explain the way I've done it just to know if i'm going in the right direction:

1- Install topo españa
2- Execute the programme "garmin map reverse converter
3- Uninstall the original map topo espana and create a mapset with mapsettoolkit 1.77
4- Execute "All.bat" of "garmin mapsource unlocker"
5- And now, I open Mapsource and it's not capable of finding the map...

What am I doing wrong? It's not the right method?
