Very grateful for your time and input. I have gone out and bought ECHOMAP UHD2 7" and have transferred USERDATA.ADM file (Waypoints) over from the older Garmin to its successor via a backed up micro-SD card.
Would highly recommend the ECHOMAP UHD2 7 so far, easy to use as long as you have late model iPhone for the ActiveCaptain app. The 556s Manual was of little help!
