    Default Garmin zumo 340LM problem.

i went to format a sd card in a reader and by mistake i formatted the zumo. I can no longer see my zumo as a mass storage device so I cannot re load the data maps. My zumo boots as normal but I haven’t got the maps on there now as express cant see it

It looks like i have a format issue dose anyone know of a program i can use to restore the drive as the operating system is still in tact just seems to be the map partition if I could just get the pc to see that partition I could re format it.

What do you mean saying "My Zumo boots normal" - you have Garmin logo and then you have unit fully operational without maps only?
If you formatted the unit it will not load main screen and will not be operational.
I do not know Zumo software, but it should be similar to Nuvi units, so if you have Volume icon button, go to volume adjustment screen, press and hold upper right corner of the screen until you see hidden menu. Look for MTP Settings and change to Mass storage mode.
Same hidden menu is accessible in Nuvi from map screen and if you push the field which show your current speed then you will get screen with big speedometer. Press and hold in the middle of the speedometer and you will get same hidden menu.
But if Garmin express did not see your unit - something other went wrong...
Check your garmin drivers on PC, use other usb port. If unit is intact Express should see it.
