Thread: Garmin Etrex 30 interface option

Hi, for very long i was wondering if it is possible to completely remove the black rectangle that shows up in the Garmin screen, picture here :




The only option i have found is : 'Guidance text > Never', but i don't know if this option relates to the user interface rectangle and anyway setting this option to 'Never' still shows the interface rectangle. thank you
